Als je wilt dat je schaatsen net zo lekker zitten als je skates dan heb je een paar opties.

De beste en tevends goedkoopste optie is om een oude skate van jezelf te pakken waarbij de hiel hoger is dan de voorkant. Skates zoals een Roces M12, Razors Cult, USD Classic Throne, Rollerblade Swindler en Valo. Hier kan je vervolgens een hockey of een noor schaatsijzer onder schroeven door zelf een paar gaatjes te boren. Je kan ook langskomen en dan boren wij het ijzer op je oude skate. Dit is wat Rik van Huik en Jeller Briggeman gebruiken als ze stuntschaats demo’s geven

Met de Scrash blade kan je elke skate omtoveren tot schaats. Het werkt met 6mm boutjes terwijl alle hedendaagse stuntskates 8mm boutjes hebben. Als je zelf nog 6mm boutjes thuis hebt dan kan je deze gewoon gebruiken en goed aandraaien. Als je geen 6mm boutjes hebt en wel een beetje handig bent dan kan je met een 8mm ijzerboor makelijk zelf de ijzers een beetje uitboren.
Het nadeel van de Scrash ijzers is dat het wat zwaar wordt en het vette is dat je nog steeds makio grinds kan doen op je schaatsen.

We nemen ALLE maten en soorten skates mee dit jaar naar de tradeshow zodat je daar lekker kan passen. Ook de goodies, kleding, dvd’s etc zullen niet ontbreken

De Cityhopper docu wordt op het grote scherm afgespeeld aan het einde van de sessie.

Bij de entree van Skateland zal een tentoonstelling zijn van alle prijzen die Sven gewonnen heeft, tijdschriften waar hij ingestaan heeft, maar ook skates en andere memorabilia van zijn carriere als pro skater.

Het spel Aggressive Inline is te spelen in de kantine. Sven Boekhorst heeft hier een eigen personage in.

Ga los op de foampit! De welbekende city hopper schans wordt neergezet in het kiddypark, gericht op de half-pipe, welke voor de gelegenheid word omgebouwd tot een echte foampit. Zo kun je zelf ook alle flips en spins oefenen, landend op zachte kussens.

Test de nieuwe skate. Er komen een aantal Rollerblade SB skates beschikbaar zodat je kan kijken voelen hoe lekker ze skaten. Met een beetje geluk kun je dat zelfs doen op de nieuwe pro skate die Sven zelf aangehad heeft tijdens het testen.

Behalve Sven zelf zijn er natuurlijk ook andere bekende Rollerblade skaters aanwezig in Rotterdam, zoals Jeremy Suarez, Adil Farhouni en Dick Heerkens. Verder wordt er natuurlijk ook gefilmt voor een edit en worden er fotos geschoten voor in de [MAG].

Last but not least is Thisissoul aanwezig met een grote collectie Rollerblade producten, waaronder natuurlijk de Sven Boekhorst Pro Skate!

This special issue of [MAG] has been released to celebrate the Rollerblade Sven Boekhorst Pro model.

Some main features have been redesigned for the SB skate. The cuff is redesigned; the plastic part at the strap is cut off to improve the comfort. Sven wanted his skate to be very light, so he choose for two straps instead of clips. The color of the skate is army green. A striking colour for a skate and it also referrers to Svens nickname “The Silent Asassin”. The soulplates are grey, so the skate looks more like a shoe. The frame is the new BLANK frame. It slides very well, is unbreakable and fits four 64mm wheels. Ralf van de Kerkhof designed the logos for the skate. On the cuff you will find the logo with Svens nickname, and on the tongue of the liner a crown with the SB initials.

The shell and cuff of the Estilo SB are made of biodegradable plastic and between 30% and 60% of renewable raw materials. This makes the skate not only green from the outside, but also on the inside
