The new Don Bambrick pro skate is now available! It is the next step in the Carbon evolution. Don explains the details here:
The Bambrick Carbon 3 is just as light and maneuverable as the Carbon 2′s. You still have the option to heat mold to your skate giving you the perfect fit. My skate has a higher liner in the ankle area giving more support and comfort. My skate is a dark Blue with black accented leather with hints of gold and red. I am very happy with how they came out and the added ankle support is a nice improvement. If you liked the Carbon 2s you will curely love the Carbon 3s.

Clean your bearings |

No type of bearing stays good forever. As soon as they start to make any sound we advice you to follow the steps below. There now is a new category to the site with all maintenance product.

1. Remove the wheels from the skates and take the bearings out of the wheels.
2. Remove at least one shield from bearings. Use something sharp to do this like a needle or a pushpin.
3. place bearings and other parts in wash container. a bowl or cup is a cheap alternative.
We recommend:
- Powerslide Turbo Wash
- Bones Bearing cleaning unit4. Add a special cleaning liqued. Soak for a few minutes and swish lightly. Brush slightly with old tootbrush and soak them again for a few minutes. The cleaning liqued can be used 3 or 4 times. just pore it back in to the bottle after you are done.
We recommend:
- Powerslide Citrus Cleaner5. Remove bearings and allow bearings to dry before lubricating.
6. Grease the bearings with bearing oil or grease. Grease stays in the bearing longer and oil lets you go faster.
We recommend:
- Powerslide Oil
- Powerslide Super Lube
- Powerslide Grease Injection
– Powerslide Grease Spray7. Put the bearings back together en mount them on your skates.

Wheel Scene is now available for free at Thisissoul!
Wheel Scene is the world’s first free rollerblading and music newspaper. The full-colour tabloid publication is printed six times a year.
After several years of writing for some of the best rollerblading magazines our industry has to offer, and some of the finest independent music publications in the UK, they decided it was time for something different.
Wheel Scene is the first independent newspaper that is one-part rollerblading and one-part music. Each issue the cover feature will rotate between rollerblading and music in order to engage the interest of music lovers and expose our wonderful sport to a wider audience.
The aim is to showcase the best our culture has to offer and document some of the world’s finest independent music. In order to do that, they have created a free publication that will be stocked in every skate shop and indoor skate park in the UK, as well as various bars, live music venues and sports centres.

Let op !! Skateland in week 38 (21 t/m 25 september) beperkt te gebruiken.
Woensdag 21 september hebben we als voorloper van het NK Skateboarden het:
Rotterdams Kampioen schap **.
Donderdag 22/9 wordt er een grote tribune over het inline parcours gebouwd.
Vrijdag 23/9 komen de NK rijders inrijden,
Zaterdag 24/9 voorrondes NK skateboarden.
en zondag 25/9 de spetterende finale.
Het gaat beren gezellig en goed druk worden.
Dit alles betekend dat Skateland die week geen ruimte heeft voor kinderfeestjes,
Donderdag, vrijdag, zaterdag en zondag het INLINE PARCOURS NIET bruikbaar is.

Breakfest |

Breakfest in Landgraaf (Limburg) op het Pinkpop terrein.
Dit jaar veel veranderingen en toevoegingen, het terrein is anders ingedeeld dan vorig jaar en er zijn een aantal onderdelen bij gekomen.
Op het mobiele skatepark van Skateland verzorgt Skateland een inline- en BMX wedstrijd.
Plywood en ES verzorgen op een ander gedeelte van het festival de Skateboard Battle op een super vette (nieuwe) miniramp van Plywood.
Voor de top 3 is een flinke pot aan prijzengeld te verdienen.
1e plaats: € 250,00
2e plaats: € 100,00
3e plaats: € 50,00
De wedstrijd wordt gehouden in runs van 1 minuut.
Je krijgt als kwalificatie 1 run om jezelf in de finale te rijden.
Daarna wordt er gestreden om het prijzengeld.
De jury voor de inline wedstrijd is in handen van Rollvation inline shop uit Heerlen.
De jury voor de BMX wedstrijd wordt geselecteerd door Skateland.
De wedstrijden voor het inline en BMX worden van commentaar voorzien door Thomas van Bemmelen.
Naast de wedstrijden wordt het park zoveel mogelijk vrij gegeven om gewoon lekker vrij te rijden.
De deuren van het festival gaan open om 12.00 en om 19.30 wordt je vriendelijk verzocht om naar huis te gaan.
